Very pleased to feature in a Questions & Answers article in the New Zealand Society of Authors (NZSA) magazine 2021 Spring edition about my 2018 NZSA mentorship with mentor/author Pip Adam.
It was during this mentorship, I wrote the first/second drafts of the suspense novel Both Feet in Paradise.
I had to think quite hard about answering some of the questions for the article. Ultimately it was a rewarding task – reviewing, three years later, how the nuts and bolts of the mentorship had gone and appreciating how much value it had brought me.
The NZSA Mentor programme is open for 2022. I’d encourage all writers starting out to apply.
